Pastoral care is known to focus on the “emotional, social and spiritual support” of individuals. However, in the context of migrant workers, it involves providing support, guidance, and sympathy to help them overcome challenges and adapt to a new environment.
Here at Trinity Employment Services, the process starts with our Pastoral Care Consultants making contact before the migrant arrives in New Zealand. Our Pastoral Care Consultants not only assist migrants with booking their flights and understanding the legal requirements in New Zealand, but also guide and support them on accommodation, opening bank accounts, acquiring IRD numbers, health care, transport, and the cost of living. By providing the necessary resources, we are confident that our migrant candidates are equipped with the requisite tools and knowledge to overcome any challenges they may face.
