Immigration New Zealand (INZ) has a search tool that lists accredited employers and their accreditation expiry date.
Many migrant workers will apply for or already hold visas that require them to work for an accredited employer. These visas are the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), Partner of a Worker Work Visa, and Straight to Residence Visa. To make it easy for migrants to find out if their current or prospective employer is accredited, Immigration New Zealand (INZ) has a search tool that lists accredited employers and their accreditation expiry date.
Visa holders will be able to search the name or New Zealand Business Number (NZBN) of the employer they are interested in working for, and search results will display:
- Business name
- Trading name (if any)
- Expiry date of employer's accreditation
The tool's database is updated as employers join the accreditation system, or renew their accreditation status. However, some employers have chosen not to be published in the search results, so if in doubt, check with the employer to find out if they are accredited or not.
