Agricultural Service Technicians
The Service Technician will play a crucial role in repairing and maintaining agricultural equipment and machinery, including tractors, harvesters, and seeders. Experience in the agricultural industry is a real advantage, however we would also like to hear from candidates, who have experience working with machinery and equipment run with hydraulics and pneumatics. These are some of the main duties of the role: Comprehensive mechanical services including maintenance, rebuilds, diagnostics, and urgent breakdown support for agricultural machinery Pre-assembly of machinery and equipment Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers Supporting and mentoring apprentices by sharing your knowledge and skills Maintain a dynamic, safe and and professional workshop What we are looking for in the right person: Certified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with proven skills in servicing and repairs Agricultural experience would be an advantage A great work ethic and focus on customer service Work independently and also be a good team player Can work efficiently Besides multiple roles in Ashburton, we also have positions available in Timaru, Westland and Dunedin.
